Journey across Black Atlantic (JaBA) Returns to Kigali: Celebrating Afro-Diasporic Culture
The Journey across Black Atlantic (JaBA)
returns in November 2024 as a groundbreaking celebration of Afro-diasporic
culture, art, and music.
This unique event embodies the Black Atlantic
philosophy, blending Afro-futuristic sounds and traditional influences to
create an immersive musical experience. JaBA connects diverse audiences through
curated performances and experimental sounds that explore the rich tapestry of
Afro-diasporic identities and their vibrant, evolving expressions.
Founded on a long-standing collaboration
between Broadcite and AFROGROOV that began in the early 2000s in London’s
underground music scene, JaBA first debuted in 2019 with events in Johannesburg

Mundi Center, whose cultural hub serves as the ideal platform to launch JABA
2024.
